Getting Started
Follow these steps to begin trading! We’ve broken down each part of the process for you below.
Wallet Connection: First, click "Connect Wallet" in the top-right corner, and choose your wallet type. Ensure you’re on the correct network and follow the prompts to complete the connection.
Create Your Account: Go to your Account Manager and click “Create Account.” You’ll name your account, and sign the transaction.
Optional Setup: For better management of positions, you can create sub-accounts to isolate different trades.
Deposit Funds: Enter the amount of USDC you wish to deposit as collateral, then confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Gas Fees: MODE will be required for gas fees on your selected network.
Select Asset: Pick the asset you want to trade from the dropdown.
View Chart: You can see an asset chart to help you with your decision-making process.
Set Leverage: Choose the leverage that fits your risk tolerance.
Select Position Direction:
Long if you expect the price to rise.
Short if you anticipate the price will fall.
Define Position Size: Enter the trade size manually, or select a percentage of your maximum position.
Order Type:
Market Order: This executes instantly at the current market price, but may have slippage.
Limit Order: Set your desired entry price, and the order will execute when the market reaches that price.
Confirm & Sign: Once you’re happy with the quote, click ‘Place Order’ and sign the transaction in your wallet to finalize your intent.
Pending Status: Your request is now on-chain, marked as “Pending,” while the solver processes it.
Position Opened: The solver will fill the order, and your collateral will become "Locked Margin".
Track Your Trade: Regularly monitor your open positions, margin status, and account health to avoid liquidation risks.
Collateral Adjustment: If necessary, deposit more USDC to add to your "Locked Margin" and mitigate liquidation risks.
Closure Options:
Market Order: Closes your position instantly, but may incur slippage.
Limit Order: Close your position once the market price reaches your specified exit price.
Confirm Closure: Click "Close Trade" and sign the transaction in your wallet.
Pending Close: After confirming your closure intent, the request is sent to the solver and will remain "Pending" until closed.
Return Collateral: After closure, your collateral and any profit/loss will be returned to your “Allocated Balance” and can be used for future trades or withdrawals.
Initiate Withdrawal: Head to the withdrawal section, enter the amount to withdraw, and click "Withdraw."
Confirmation: Confirm the transaction by signing it in your wallet.
Fraud-Proof Phase: Withdrawals undergo a 12-hour fraud-proof phase before they’re fully available. Your funds will be safe during this time and can be claimed once the phase is complete.
Regularly monitor your margin and account health to avoid unexpected losses.
Ensure you understand the assets you're trading and the leverage you're using.
Never risk more than you can afford to lose.
